Part of Provo, Utah’s America’s Freedom Festival, this July Balloon Fest brings about 25 hot air balloons to Fox Field for a holiday-weekend spectacle enjoyed by tens of thousands of spectators. Balloons launch each morning from 6 to 8 a.m. (closed Sunday), and families are welcome to walk among them as they inflate. Pilots compete in a lively ‘Hare and Hound’ target contest, and a Friday-night Balloon Glow caps off the celebration.
